How Can I See Who Is Logged In To MYOB Exo
Who is logged in to MYOB Exo ?
There are several reasons why you may need to find out who is logged in to MYOB Exo within your organisation, such as:
- Ensuring everyone is logged out of MYOB Exo in order to do some work on your database,
- A user is logged on more than once and you have run out of licences.
How many licences are in use ?
From the Exo menu, Click on Help… then “About”.
This is handy screen for seeing a large amount of system information specific to Exo.
Approximately half-way down the screen, you will see “Licences in use:”. This will tell you how many licences you have, and how many are currently being used…
If the two numbers are the same i.e. (4/4, 5/5, 8/8 etc.) then all the available licences have been consumed, and no more users can login.
Who is using Two ?
MYOB Exo WILL allow a user to login more than once.
If that occurs, then that user will be consuming more than one Exo licence.
If no more licences are available, then it may be necessary to identify who is using multiple licences.
WHO is logged in to MYOB Exo ?
For this, the Exo Configurator is needed.
This is an Administration program, so it will require an Administrator login. If necessary, ask your Exo Consultant/Partner.
- Launch the Exo Business Essentials Configurator, from the Exo “Utilities” workflow menu.
- Use the Configurator application menu to open “Help”, then click on “About”.
3. Click on “View Users”.
This will open a window that shows the names of the COMPUTERS that are currently logged into Exo.
This screen will show the names of all the COMPUTERS that are currently logged into Exo.
Any computer shown to have more than one connection, will very likely be using more than one licence.
Closing any extra/unused connections will free up licences for use.
